Licence to use Laply

Revenant Systems grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use Laply for lawful coaching, training, timing and race-management purposes.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, use it unlawfully, or rely on it where a failure could create a safety-critical situation.

Not a timing authority

Laply records the coach's taps against the device clock. It is a coaching aid for group timing and training sessions, and is not certified race timing or chip timing. Do not use it where an official or contested result depends on the times it records.

Ownership

Laply, its software, design, branding and related materials remain owned by Revenant Systems or its licensors. You retain responsibility for the runner and race information you enter, export or share.

Refund policy

If Laply is purchased through an app store, refunds are handled under that store provider's refund rules and processes. Contact the relevant app store for refund requests.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revenant Systems is not liable for indirect loss, lost data, missed timings, race-day disruption, or decisions made from the app's output.

Termination rights

You may stop using Laply at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access to future app versions or services if these terms are breached or if the app is discontinued.
