Laply is a team lap-tracking app for sports coaches, published by Revenant Systems.

What we collect

Nothing. Laply does not collect personal data, device identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports. The app makes no network requests of its own.

What is stored on your device

Laply uses on-device storage to save:

Runner names and optional squad labels that you add to your roster.
Race results you save, including per-lap splits, totals and timestamps.
Race notes, tags and manual correction history that you add.
Race setup templates, including target laps and selected roster runners.
App preferences such as light/dark theme, haptics and list/grid view mode.

All of this data stays in the app's private on-device storage. It is deleted by the operating system when you uninstall the app.

If you enable platform device backup, Apple or Google may include Laply's local app data in your device backup so it can be restored when you replace or restore your device. Those backup services are operated by Apple and Google, not by us, and we play no part in them and never see their contents.

What we share

Nothing. If you use any export or share feature in Laply, the system share sheet lets you send the selected content to the destination of your choice. That content is composed locally on your device. Laply does not receive a copy.

Third-party services

None. Laply does not embed analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, tracking pixels, A/B testing services or similar third-party services.

Children

Laply is suitable for all ages and is designed to be used by a coach rather than by the runners themselves. Because we collect no data from anyone, there is nothing specific to comply with under child-data regulations. Laply is rated 4+ on the App Store.

Your rights

Since we do not hold any data about you, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete from our side. To remove the on-device data Laply stores, uninstall the app or use Reset everything inside Settings.

Changes to this policy

If we add a feature that changes this policy, we will update this page, bump the date at the top, and mention the change in release notes.
